Beside family gathering, silaturrahmi and other ritual tradition, Iedul Fitri always means reunion with my old school gang – teenage-to-youngadult life. We’ve been friends for about eight years, and with some were longer, almost 20 years now.

We were a buncha kids from a (now) dense (and not healthy) neighborhood in Jakarta suburban, and so proud of ourselves.

Reading this article, reminds me of my childhood. I was scared to death reading newspaper article said that the earth rotation is going slower. I read somewhere on Koran that when the doomsday come the earth rotate slower and finally stop (I don’t know it’s true or not, ’cause since then I haven’t read any Surah telling this story).

I couldn’t sleep that night.
